Boxing advice you can actually trust

Jabster is a boxing-workout app, but this site is also where we publish honest guides on training, technique, and gear. Here is who writes them and the rules we hold ourselves to.

Who writes this

Chris is a co-founder of Jabster, a boxing-workout app. He started it to make boxing training simple and fun for regular people, not just fighters. The guides here are researched carefully from established coaches, manufacturers, and trusted reviewers.

When we recommend a glove size or a heavy bag weight, it is because the research backs it up, and we show you why. When good sources disagree, we tell you that too.

How we research

We read the manufacturer specs, the long-time coach forums, and the honest reviewers who have used this gear for years. We cross-check prices and sizing across multiple sources so the numbers you read here are real, not guessed.

When we have not personally used a product, we say so. We will never pretend to have tested forty pairs of gloves in a lab. What we give you is well-researched advice that respects your time and your money.

Our honest rules

  • We do not invent reviews, ratings, or testing we did not do.
  • We lead with the answer, then explain it. No 1,000 words before the point.
  • We keep guides updated as gear and prices change, and we date every update.

About the app

Jabster builds a fresh boxing workout every time you train, for the heavy bag, shadowboxing, or jump rope, and calls the combos out loud over your own music. It is in development now, iOS first. It is built by co-founders Chris and Russell. Join the waitlist to get it the day it launches, or try the free tools right now.
